How to make Macaroni and meat ( bashamel )

This meal  is a Famous dish in the Middle East . It’s so delicious and healthy because it contains calcium, fibers, carbohydrates. It is an easy and fast meal to cook, does not require effort.  Moreover, the ingredients are not expensive at all.

Preparing time: 1 hour 


1 Ib ground beef

3 spoons of vegetable oil 

1 package macaroni 

1-liter whole fat milk

1 small bag of Mozzarella cheese

3 tablespoons of corn starch 

2 chopped tomatoes 

1 chopped onion 

1 minced garlic 

1 big tomato paste can

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon paprika 

½ teaspoon cumin powder 

½ tablespoon black paper powder 

1 squeeze lemon 

1 tablespoon turmeric 

1 tablespoon Dried coriander

Pinch of cardamom 

Pinch of Oregano 


(The beef)

  1. Heat the oil and fry the onion for 5 minutes 
  2. Add the tomatoes and the garlic and stir for 5 minutes 
  3. Add all the spices and stir for 1 minute ( except the lemon juice and the tomato paste )
  4. Add the ground beef , cook until half cooked
  5. Pour the tomato paste with the lemon and keep stirring for 5 minutes 

( milk mixture )

  1. Heat the milk at medium heat 
  2. Add the corn starch, pinch of salt and black paper keep whisking
  3.  A hint of minced garlic and Oreganos 
  4. Until the milk mixture becomes thick, remove the pot from the stove

(Macaroni )

Boil  it until cooked then remove it from the water

(The plate) to put it in the oven 

  1. Add one layer of macaroni and add 5 spoons of the milk mixture
  2. Add the beef over the first layer 
  3. Add another layer of macaroni without milk mixture 
  4. Pour the rest of the milk mixture over the second layer of macaroni 
  5. Add the mozzarella cheese on the last layer and little of oregano on the top
  6. Cook it for half an hour up and down (180 c)

How to make easy Rice and chicken (Kuwaiti machbos)

Machbos is a traditional dish in Kuwait

It is considered one of the main famous dishes

It is a healthy dish because it contains carbohydrates, proteins and fiber.

Let us start with the ingredients and how to cook this delicious dish.

Cooking time 1:30 – 2 hours ( If use a pressure cooker will be 1 hour )

Most of the time the chicken has to be cooked


1 whole chicken

3 cups of long rice ( basmati )

4 spoons of oil ( use ghee for a tastier taste )

2 chopped onions

1 Minced garlic ( fresh )

1 chopped tomatoes

5 pieces of fresh cardamom (a)

2 Cinnamon sticks (b)

3 pieces of Bay paper (c)

2 pieces of cloves (d)

7 grains of black pepper not crushed (e)

1/2 tablespoon salt ( as you like ) (f)

½ tablespoon black paper powder  (g)

1 tablespoon ( each )of mixing spices ( curry, turmeric, and  ground coriander ) (h)

Pinch of saffron (i)


  1. Wash the rice until the water becomes clear, then keep it into the water for half an hour.
  2. Fry the onion with the oil for 10 min.
  3. Add the garlic, tomatoes, and all the spices ( a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h,i).
  4. Keep frying for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the whole chicken (with the frying onions and the other ingredients ) for 5 minutes.
  6. Add hot water until chicken is covered a little ( close the cover ) keep boiling until the chicken be cooked ( about 1 hour ).
  7. Remove the chicken and keep it on the side.
  8. Strain the chicken water but don’t thought the water.
  9. Add the rice with the chicken water ( let the chicken water cover the rice).
  10. Cook the rice on medium heat ( 180 c ) for half an hour.
  11. Fry the chicken and put it Over the cooked rice.
